Subscribed folders for 2nd Gmail IMAP account in 10.51 not displayed
I have the version of 10.51 that results from the automatic upgrade from 10.10.I have been using my main Gmail IMAP account in it, with no serious problems.
Today I created a second Gmail account. It appears under Tools > Mail and Chat Accounts, and I'm subscribed to all the main IMAP folders.
When Opera checks my mail, it downloads messages for both accounts, but no IMAP folders for the new account are visible anywhere and neither are the downloaded emails.
Any suggestions?

My only suggestion is that it sometimes seems to take some time before the mailboxes show up. Did they show up or do you still have this problem?

Still no sign of them! I'm wondering whether Opera doesn't like the fact that both accounts are on the same server, and thinks it's displayed all the folders when in fact it's only displayed them for one account.
I suppose I'll have to set up one of the Gmail accounts to collect mails from the other, but that's not an ideal solution—I want to be able to reply from the correct account, with the correct From and Reply-to headers, from within Opera, automatically.

Did you check your accounts.ini? Is the account listed there?
I have 5 gmail/imap accounts set up and it works. I suggest that you set your main gmail (in gmail) to retrieve your other gmail accounts as pops. Then set up a filter for incoming mail for that account. It makes working with M2 for gmail a lot easier, because all comes in in the 'same folder' (mail for xx / [gmail]/all mail)- that great feature of M2 to not have to sort anything and stil be able to find it all). I've also set those filtered messages to be marked as read. (I don't like duplicate bold messages in different views).
I use the other account (listings) for the exact same reason as you do: to be able to send from those accounts.
This set up works very well for me in M2.

I've discovered what the problem was. I thought I'd tried right-clicking everything that was right-clickable to find a relevant setting in a context menu, and that I'd explored all the mail-realated menu items.
It turns out that I had to right-click "Mail for [account name]" in the folders list, and then change "Show mail for ..." to "all accounts". The invisible folders then appeared.
Seems fine now :-) I'll change my Gmail settings back and I'll be there, I think. (The account I could see is currently set to pick up mail from the other one, which isn't necessary any more.)

Thanks for posting back. I forgot about that option, because I never use it.

The stupid thing is that I'd used that context menu lots of times—but I always went straight to Properties without noticing the crucial option further up the menu! And that just led me to choices about which IMAP folders to display for a particular account, rather than which accounts to show.
