Please reccommend a feed reader for use on Opera mini and Opera desktop
I am a recent convert to Opera - I use it on my phone, my laptop and my desktop and I love the Opera link syncing facility. Up to now I have been using Google Reader to aggregate a bunch of blogs and news stuff for my daily reading list but I cannot get Google Reader to work on Opera Mini on my phone (a Nokia E51). In fact Google Reader support has gotten worse since version 5 - I only see a small corner of the page and cannot pan.I really don't want to have to set up different feed readers for different devices so I am looking for a recommendation for a reader that works well on all versions of Opera.
I am surprised no one else had encountered this issue. Is no one else trying to use Google Reader with Opera Mini?
Anyway I think I may have solved the problem myself. I installed Opera Mobile instead of Opera Mini. It looks and feels very similar to Opera mini but seems to support Google's pages better. The one thing to watch for if you make the switch is that Opera Mobile does not have server side compression turned on by default so you will use your data allowance more quickly if you are on a metered package. You need to go into settings and enable Turbo mode to get server side compression with Opera Mobile.

Your helpful suggestions have solved the problem of trying to view feeds but now I have hit the "can't leave comments" issue described by Hyschara in this thread: http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=495011.
Fingers crossed this get resolved soon. I am a new convert to Opera and I really like being able to synchronise one browser on my desktop, laptop and phone but viewing and commenting on blogs and forums from my phone is proving to be an uphill struggle.

Hijacking your own thread? Please try to post only stuff relevant to the thread title. Otherwise nobody will ever fin your post....
Good point Hans - consider me suitably reprimanded. I left a comment on the other thread as well so if any one else want to contribute to the "unable to leave comments" issue please go there instead: http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=495011.
