If you add your Operating System, Opera Version, and some basic hardware specs to your Forum Signature it saves us having to ask. It is extremely relevant to your question.
I suspect that you are trying to run Opera on Windows 98 or Windows 95, which as far as I know no longer support the latest Opera version. There are a few previous threads on this. I think you will have to upgrade your OS or reinstall the previous version — Opera 10.1.
