Setting default font for "reply" mail
Well, this should be easy, but I can't find it...I want to change the default font for my reply mail. It is currently set to Times, and a bit small. I have looked and searched the forum, but can't seem to find where I can change this. I am in Opera 10.51
Any help?
Thanks again,
Pradhan

Don't do that. HTML email is disliked by many users, and may be blocked.
You want to choose the font and size for composing email, and likewise, those who receive email from you want to be able to choose the font and size to suit themselves. If you set the font and size using HTML email, then that is made more dificult for them.
Instead, go to Preferences, Fonts, Email Compose, and set Verdana 18 pix or whatever suits you for composing email. If sent as plain text, the recipient gets to choose the font size they like for reading email.
Of course, if you must use HTML mail for business reasons, then that is what you should do. You can also set the default font for composing HTML email in Preferences, Fonts.

I've never had an email blocked due to it being HTML, but I'm sure you're right.
I hadn't thought of that, and shall follow your advice.

I know some people who do block HTML mail, but not many.
You can change how Opera shows you text email easily enough (see Preferences > Advanced > Fonts) and there are settings there for fonts for composing both text and HTML mail. If you really want to send someone a message with "Happy Easter" written in 90 point Arial (and the rest at a more reasonable size) then sure you can use HTML and do that ... but if all you're trying to do is make it easier for you to read what you're typing then change that in Preferences and don't force your choices on the recipient.
