Wrong Shortcut Sent After Inline Find

I have assigned "Esc" as my shortcut for "Hide Opera."

After finding some text on the page with / inline find, and letting the toolbar disappear, if I press E the browser disappears from view.

At first, I thought the browser was crashing to the desktop, but it is hiding to the system tray.

This affects 10.52 build 3338.

Single key shortcuts are enabled, and the "E" shortcut is not assigned to anything.

Solved it. I entered "Escape" as the shortcut for Hide Opera, instead of "Esc"

I'm still not quite sure why pressing E should hide Opera only when text has been found with inline find though.

Any ideas?
