Opera as Default browser: Opens but without the URL

Hi,

Opera is set as my default browser, but when I open a page from f.e. a software's "Help>About", Opera starts but without taking the URL.

Only if I press the button in "Help>About" while Opera is running will the page be opened.

Starting .htm pages directly from explorer or TC works fine.

Anybody knows how to fix that?

There's about 10 threads on this issue ...

If you use XP, then the advice I gave here will probably help - replies have been that it doesn't seem to help in Windows 7.
