FTP CGI Script is slow in 10.51
I use a website to upload files to a server. There is a CGI script that uses the information provided on the page to FTP the files. (My computer is the client). In the previous version of Opera these files (average 1MB) used to transfer at the fastest speed available but in 10.51 it appears that the FTP script is not a high enough priority to even complete in the same packet stream. The network connection is not active during the entire transfer. I am running XP Home SP3 on a 3Ghz Pentium 4 Compaq Presario Laptop with 1GB Ram and an 802.11 G Linksys USB Wireless device. Before the 10.51 upgrade the FTP CGI script was almost instantaneous. Now it lags. is there some way to make the script execution faster?
