Preference and appearence options disappeared.

I am a new Opera user.
I have set all my preferences (toolbars, skins,panels etc) and now I have lost the ability to either change appearance or preferences.
I click on tools and then preferences and in the advanced section all that is there is the boxes with either ticks or no ticks and no indications what those boxes are (the writing has gone)
In appearances under panels and toolbars the same is happening with just the boxes showing with no text showing what the boxes are meant for.

Change skins, the skin you're using isn't compatible with 10.5x. Switch to one of the default skins until you can find another one you like that is compatible.

It's a shame that I had just found a skin that I like !!

I guess It would not take long before the skin guys update their skins according to the many changes in Opera 10.5x
You will then have more functional skins to choose between, compared with what you have today.
