Does opera have its own clipboard system?

I was typing something in opera and lost it as opera navigated itself to a "you need to update opera" page and I lost all my typed information. I had, at one point copied it but since it has been replaced by something else. I was wondering if opera has its own onboard way of organizing copied text, and if not if anyone happens to know a way to bring that back in windows that would also be very helpful.

Organizing copied text? Well, you could always use Notes ... if you didn't before I can't help you, the clipboard is not part of Notes, but in the future you might consider it. Undo is also pretty good at undoing changes, but I'm not sure just how much it tracks ...

Hmmm, that's actually a really good idea for future use, I completely forgot that was there. My problem though is that it has already been copied over. I'm not sure if there's a solution but I thought I would check anyways just in case there was some feature I didn't know about.

Opera uses the clipboard function from the used operating system, otherwise you wouldn't be able to copy text from and to Opera and other applications.
Btw, Opera does remember what you've typed when you navigate to a new page. By simply navigating backward, you could have saved your text wink (ps. at least, it works here with History Navigation Mode = 3)
Hey, it's me.
