How can it be good and pathetic at the same time?

Most of your comments seem rather vague/pointless. Page navigation is much smoother in OM5, for example. JavaScript is already supported.

Have you ever heard about manners?

For large pages try to scroll with zoom in instead. I can confirm this behavior with k800i only for heavy pages.

Well, in general, Symbian's Java support is not the best, so the new flashy UI tends to be slow. For this reason I'm using 4.2 always, unless I've some files to download. I guess it's Symbian which deserves a native version. smile

there is a real issue with symbian^1

scrolling doesn't work when the tab's status is busy. it's very annoying on slow connection. you have to click the stop cross all the time to get touch scrolling working, preventing the page from complete loading.

another problem is that scrolling is not smooth and very lagging.

another problem on s60v5 is lack of zooming.only text zooming. but modern devices have a very small 0,10-0,12mm pixel. it takes over 30 seconds to click on a tiny check or radio boxes, as labels doesn't work. same goes to small 16x16-pixel or smaller icons

Mini is a Java app. Putting a sisx wrapper on it wouldn't make it work any differently.

Obviously it would be more compatible since it would be a native version.

putting midlet into sis archive won't make it native. you have to rewrite a whole code of the program from zero on native language to make it native

patience young grasshopper.
Everyone can see the full potential of opera mini, and we are all eagerly awaiting every little improvement. But these things take time. Rome wasn't built in a day. wink
