Alternate placement for status bar when tab bar is placed to the left/right

I think the status bar should be slightly different when the tab bar is placed to the left/right

I think especially the top of the status bar looks far better this way. And we get some extra pixels for the tab bar smile

FWIW, I now use the Status Bar as my main button-bar. I find that it's most convenient to reach buttons along bottom of the browser window, where I've now duplicated numerous buttons for easy-access. Among those are Reload/Stop, CloseTab, several Zoom buttons, Session buttons, OpenInIE, PrintPreview, MenuBar toggle, PersonalBar toggle, IDasOpera, etc, etc. In summary, I prefer having the Status bar remain along the full-width, maximizing number of buttons.

Besides that, I rarely use the full height of my vertical tab bar, so providing room for that last tab would be wasted, IMO. Finally, I also position my Personal bar at bottom, just above the StatusBar, where it too can use the full window-width. Devs, please don't "break" what's already working??~!

This is nothing to do with the beta versions — it belongs in the wish-list forum.

Hmmm, actually I think there is no fitting forum for stuff like this. The wish-list forum is for enhancements/new features.
But I think the current placement is more like a bug, because it doesn't integrate well with the right part of the statusbar. The vertical tabbar placement seems to be too uncommon to be fully supported...

@sv-chamelea: Well I can absolutely see that for you this wouldn't be ideal, but you have a HIGHLY customized setup. And I think Opera should try to work best with the "normal" setups before being customizable.
