Won't allow replying on Adobe Forums
I can't type in the reply box on adobe forums. I have to use either Firefox Safari Chrome or that other one to reply to posts on the adobe forums... what the hell is wrong with this thing? I found a work around by changing the style to user mode, but it's really irritating to have to switch to that mode and then switch back to author mode...Well my guess is that there is nothing wrong with Opera but with the website programming. Adobe website is sometimes horribly programmed, overly relying on flash content, etc. While I agree Opera "should" work, it probably is also worthwhile to complain to Adobe in this matter and bring it up in their forums.
Maybe you can try to paste their forums website to a W3C website checker and "uncover" all their 'non-conformity' with web standards?
http://validator.w3.org/
By just checking their START page (www.adobe.com) I get already: 35 Errors and 18 warning(s) from the W3C validator !!!!
(Gives me real confidence about their Software, I know why I am NOT using Adobe reader but Foxit reader for PDF's....)
Also:
Under "Help" -> "Report a site problem.." you can report the site you are having a problem with to the Opera team directly :-)
Hope that helps (somewhat)
