Keyboard Shortcut to Place Cursor in First Form Field Text Box
I'm using Opera 10.10 (Build 4742), Linux. Is there a built-in keyboard shortcut for placing the cursor into the first form field text box? I found no such reference in the forums.
If there is no built-in shortcut, is there a configuration function in the keyboard mapping to which I can assign my own shortcut? If yes, then what is the name of that function?
Currently the Tab key is assigned to the "Focus next widget" function. Sometimes that will immediately select the first text box form field, but just as often I have to press the Tab key several times to place the cursor in the first text box. The arrow keys work in a similar manner.
Some web sites that use JavaScript automatically place the cursor in the first form field text box, but not all. Further, I browse with JavaScript disabled as my default and allow JavaScript only on a "white list" basis.
Thanks.
