Opera Link API
Does Opera provide an API for Opera Link, especially Opera Notes? I think it doesn't judging from the API description page which is unfortunate a bit.Let me explain my idea:
I use Opera Mini on my Android enabled phone and what disturbs me quite much is lack of support for Opera Notes in 5th version of the browser. Although 4.2 did supported Notes it was not perfect and rather clumsy. What came into my mind is to write a simple Android application that would enable user to store their notes (like many Android notes apps, e.g. AK Notepad which I use usually) and easily synchronize them with Opera Notes service. However, the only way I can see now is to use ordinary HTTP requests and responses containing HTML, based on the Opera Link Web interface. Communication with the Opera Link server using JSON or eventually XML would be much more appropriate I think.
Does Opera team plan to extend the API in such way? Or maybe is it going to write such Android application or embed the feature in the next Opera Mini version?
Welcome to the Opera CommunityThere currently (that I know of) is not a way to do this because there is no such API. Hopefully, an employee will respond to this thread and give some new insight.
