Remove Inspect Element Menu Items
This is of no use for the average user and only leads to problems for them if they accidentally select it. Developers, by definition, should know how to add this item to their menus if they want it, but the average user does not know how to remove it, or what to do to turn off the dragonfly frame if it is invoked by mistake. It is a headache for support, and of use to a tiny minority of Opera users.

+1, rather annoying for normal browsing imo. Devs know how to start Dragonfly (hopefully) where they have an element selection by hover anyhow.

JoakimIK: you can always edit the menu.ini to do some greater modifications

Well, I voted yes, but I guess most people don't need it, so I'd suggest Opera should just ship with an addition "developers" toolbar.ini...

That's true! Most people don't use "open in new window", but they don't complain, because it's somewhere in the middle.
And PLEASE add a good icon (maybe a dragonfly) to it!
Using Windows 7 64Bit SP1 and of course Opera

Reply to other thread: Figured since you have your own site that you would use it.
This thread: Couldn't they hide it under the Feature modifier for menu items like:
Feature Voice, ...
Feature Mail, ...
Feature Feeds, ...
Feature Developer, ...
Then have a "Developer" mode that will enable that feature (and probably have them always visible under "Tools - Advanced" as well)... seems like the best solution, don't have to switch the whole toolbar.ini that way.

If you want to remove these Inspect Element items, try my Customised Menu, which removes a lot of other geekish stuff too, and generally simplifies the menu set up, while adding other items that you may find useful. At least, it will give you some ideas for customising your own menus.
