Racism...sexism...

Where there is diverty there is conflict.Where there is more than one human being there exists hatred and more conflict.Though they declare themselves above the food chain and their behaviour morally correct. They are more beastly than wild animals.Their creations have more disadvantages than advantages. They created racism, xenophobia, sexism and anythng that comes with them all. They fear anything different, each one of them belives that their way of life is the perfect one.what awkward creatures

Must be difficult being objective where this thread has started from?

Subjectivity limits intellects and hinders the release of truth. Thus there should be no room for subectivity when truth is concerned.

No I don't agree with that; subjectivity is what we are, each of us concerned with our own interests. If you want to take an objective decision about something you need to acknowledge your subjectivity, understand what makes you tick, and take that into account in your decision.

A good example is a new year's resolution where objectively you might decide that a severe diet and fasting regime is what you need. But if you take objectivity into account, for example that you like your beer with the lads on a Saturday, then you need to take that into account so that you have a sustainable slimming regime and not one that fails at the first weekend.

There are also situations where objectivity has little place. For example objectivity might tell you not to try to rescue your child from a river if you can't swim.

But I do agree that objectivity should guide us, it's just that we should be realistic also in our judgments.
The OPERA forum will close on March 1st.
However there is an escape route where many of us are gathering to avoid Armagedon:
see The DnD Sanctuary for gaming, for discussions on Browsers or anything in particular, and just Lounging about.

Precisely, what is this thread about? Diverty? Who are "they"?

Will somebody who responded to the OP please let me in on the secret?

And yet your original post (I assume that's you under a slightly different name) is all about subjective viewpoints, and your interpretation of those behaviours is nothing but subjective.

Humans didn't invent racism, sexism or xenophobia - they just gave them names.

"ism" is just a simple way of putting people in boxes rather than discussing things.
