Let "Enable HTTP 1.1 for proxy" enabled by default

Hi,

Every time I use a different computer on my college I had to download and install Opera. So, after installing, I have to do opera:config and activate "Enable HTTP 1.1 for proxy" because the school uses proxy.

So, why this is disabled by default? I don't think everyone knows that should be enabled to use the browser at full speed.

Because proxy servers often have problems with Http 1.1 pipelining.

Thank you Rijk.

I don't know if it is possible, but I think the browser should try to deal with HTTP 1.1 before giving up to HTTP 1.0. Because it can let the wrong idea of "the fastest browser in the Earth". smile
