Stuck on installing bar! please help!
I have a blackberry storm 9530 and i downloaded operamini to my computer and transfered it to my storm via usb cable. Once I did this I clicked on the opera mini icon and it says installing and gets stuck about half way on the install bar. I am really stuck at this point and would appreciate any help on what to do. First of all your phone must be detected correctly (UA and OS version) via direct dl link m.opera.com with phone build-in browser. You could try also partial link http://m.opera.com/minibb.jad?act=dl&tag=mini5bb&cert=

i have a LG cookie kp501 and got opera mini 4.2. was very happy with it infact i was goin on about how fast it was to everyone nd about how much better it is than the Orange browser...
but now whenever i start it up it gets stuck saying "installing" so i tried re-downloading it and installing it again and i have the same problem. how do i fix this?

somebody please help! i have this same problem with my lg rumor touch from virgin mobile.. im sick of dealing with them cuz they dont help at all so im wondering if anyone on here would know how to solve my problem.
i have opera mini 5.1 downloaded onto my phone and at the beginning of having my new phone everything worked.. after a month the app stopped working and so did the virgin mobile internet.. they said they reset the 3g but still nothing works..
everytime i start the app its stuck on installing and then says "unable to connect to the internet. please check your settings." however my email and IM work on my phone through the internet.
i also have uninstalled and restalled the app and it has still done the same thing.
any suggestions as to fixing this? i hate emailing virgin mobile and calling them cuz they dont help me at all and the people there are hard to understand half of the time.

yeah virginmobile usa is crap on customer service. I was having unable to connect,403 forbidden,and network unavailable errors all weekend. ended up threatening to take action with fcc.gov about them not fixing my connection issues nor offering an explination as to why i was having them..magically it started working again..after talking to one hundred ill prepared mexican customer service reps who dont know a damn thing about networking or the phones their company sells. call customer support and let them know if your connection issues are not resolved you intend to report it to the federal communications commission via fcc.gov. and plan on doing it. i have done it before and fcc got very quick resolution and money restored to my account. as for the issue on installing and getting check network connection..that virginmobile usa related. browser needs to connect during install. virginmobile is the problem. not opera mini. also what might help,uninstall opera,delete cache in built in browser,remove battery in phone and reboot it then reinstall. this of course after putting the mfkn smack down on virgin-ghetto-mobile usa lol
