Strange application belonging to Opera on Windows

Hi all,

On Windows XP, once a time, I've noticed a strange application associated to the Opera process.

I've noticed it in the task manager, in the “Applications” tab, this was displaying as an application with a very long unreadable file name full of Japanese characters (see screenshot #1 below). When in the context menu of this I've choose “Go in this process” (french for « Aller dans le processus », do not know the exact corresponding label in English), to follow parent relationship, it show me Opera in the “Processes” tab (see screenshot #2 below).

I was a bit frightned by this application, so I get back in the Applications tab and choose to close it… this closed Opera in the mean time ! So there was indeed a real Opera dependency to this strange application.

Two screen shots to give the opportunity to have an idea of what I saw :

For publication tool chain (for the web and else) : Semantic online editor, Lasidoré (XML based) - prerelease - requires at least Opera 9.5 to work nice

Google is not a synonym of Search engine : boys and girls, have a look at Exalead and WolframAlpha

You have a link to that page you were looking at? I'm wondering if it would be related to that video ...

Hello Sgunhouse,

There was no video on that page I was reading, instead, it was talking about the video codec Theora, which Mozilla would like to support (I was browsing the web to learn more about the different video formats) : Quand Mozilla participe à la libération de la vidéo (fr)

Nothing special about it, I've just tried it one more time, and the strange application did not show up again.

I remember I have read a PDF page just before, but I don't think it was related and this document was closes at that time.
