Disable number keys tab switching

When a number key is pressed, Opera jumps to the tab with the corresponding index. In certain cases (when javascript is listening to key presses), this is not desirable. How can I disable it?

Thanks.

That's not a standard Opera feature in the first place, you'll have to look at whatever you did to add that. Standard definitions have 1 as Switch to previous page and 2 as Switch to next page, while the other numbers don't switch tabs. (They do other things, like zoom the current tab and such, but they don't switch tabs.)

Ctrl+F12 / Advanced / Shortcuts / disable 'Enable single-key shortcuts'.

Or edit your existing keyboard shortcuts if you only want to disable some of the single-key shortcuts.

You're right, I misinterpreted the shortcuts, but I'd still like to disable all number-key mappings. I use the built-in 9.2 compatible shortcuts.

Tried it before posting. Single-key shortcuts are disabled, and pressing "1" (for example) in shortcuts editing dialog finds no relevant mappings.

Did you upgrade your install from older versions that had single-key shortcuts enabled? If you did, then the settings probably carried over, try a fresh install with a new profile.

There's no identified "single key shortcuts" in the 9.2-compatible setup, he'd have to remove each separately. Not difficult or anything, but tedious.

Yeah, well, my Opera has been upgraded at least 10 times after the last install, but doing a clean one just for this little thing is not really an option.

I'd gladly do it if I could find any of them. That was actually the first thing I tried, but searching for "1" or "2" gives me no relevant results. Maybe I just don't know what should I be looking for... Any suggestions?

Search for "switch", the commands are Switch to previous/next page. The commands in question do have a "Platform ..." specifier so that they aren't active on Windows MCE. (Media Center Edition, in MCE all the numbers are various Zoom percentages.)

The other numeric shortcuts ... let me see, 3 is easy to find, 4 and 5 are Minimize/Maximize respectively, and 6-0 are all Zoom shortcuts.
