Problem with Friendster mobile site.

I went to http://m.friendster.com today with opera mini 5.0 and got a message saying 'forbidden' at the top left of the screen.
I tried it with 4.2 and got the same error.
I tried friendster with default browser and bolt and it works.
This problem occurs only with opera mini.
Help,guys.

Friendster site works only with OM 2 and 3 with standard remote servers. I have 'forbidden' message or blank page using OM 4 and 5 with HTTP protocol /SEK800i.

I can't find any good explanation for that.

Check http://www.rosinstrument.com/cgi-bin/isanon.pl ,if at least one IP from 'x forwarded for' header is marked with red color access is forbidden. Using Opera Mini 5 friendster site is accessible for me with Vf RO operator (APN 'internet' for prepay) but not with Orange RO (APN 'wap' and wap gateway can't be disabled). However this issue should be reported because there should be no functional difference for different providers.

Well, different providers and different terminals then. Assuming that you have the same data plan 'x_forwarded_for' header is identical? I guess that for some unknown reason friendster site (login page redirection) detects both Opera Mini and proxy operator. So make a bug report, after all you find it. smile

Yahoo mobile and friendster login errors have one thing in common: lang redirection. It's easy to see that language is detected via WAP proxy forwarded in headers, in my case as lang=ro.
