Never mind, a YoYo you can soon jump back again.![]()
Opera 10.1 is a stable version. Opera 10.51 is also stable (it seldom crashes in normal use), but it does have some bugs. Ignore the whiners. Install it and try it for yourself. It is much faster than earlier versions.
Opera 9.64 is the most recent in the 9x series. Old Versions
If you use the Classic Installer it makes it easier to install multiple versions of Opera alongside each other.
Classic Installer?
Is that different from downloading and clicking the .exe?
This will be on Win7 with a 1Tb HDD, so I should have plenty of room for a second version.

Most of those posts are about 10.5x because it greatly changes many interface features. 10.10 is not so different from 9.x interface-wise, so I doubt you'll dislike it if you like 9.
Anyway, if you have time you can install any version to a separate directory and give it a try.
I like V9 fine, but I wasn't too wild about some of the interface changes in 10.5, so from this I should be OK with v 10.1 ? Or should I stay with 9.62? Will 10.1 import my setting, bookmarks, wand, etc and work/look like 9.5?

Follow the link that I gave you to the old versions. Select your language and desired version number. Choose the Classic setup.exe file. Repeat for versions 10.1 and 9.64 if you want to install them too.
