Problem with text areas in opera 10.51

I did a search and didn't see this yet.

I have a couple of issues with text boxes

1)When I am on a website and typing in a text box (like on a web forum typing in a post), and my text fills the box and gets to the bottom of the screen, and I keep typing... the text continues to the next line, but the text area doesn't always scroll up, so my cursor and the text I am typing is off the screen. Moving the cursor up/down with the arrow keys doesn't fix this... the only fix is to hit delete to return to the visible line, then keep typing to try again. Usually after a few tries, this will work.

I have 3 systems running Opera 10.51, one at home, and two at work. At work, both systems run Vista Ultimate, and at home I am on Windows 7. This problem happens on all of them.

Anyone experience this? Any fix?


2) When selecting a character with the mouse...if there is a "thin" character like the letter 'i' or 'l' or an exclamation point or period that is preceded by a space, if I click slightly to the left of the thin character, the cursor actually moves to before the space preceding the thin character. So if I typed "Hi everyone !" and I wanted to erase that space, and click the right side of the space before the exclamation point, it actually places the cursor before that space, whereas it should place it after.

Anyone else get this? It happens every time - reproducible on all my installations of Opera.
