I have someones elses bookmarks via using Opera Link!!
Hi guys, I just checked my bookmarks in Opera 10.51 and I now have hundreds of bookmarks which are not mine. I'm more concerned if my mine have duped on somesones machine. Sites like my Bank websites etc. I'm also worried if my saved usernames and passwords have gone with them too.... Any advice please.
Getting someone else's data from the server is quite unlikely.
One possibility would be that someone used Link in your computer (like some friend). If that person logged out and logged in with his/her account, you'll end up with all bookmarks in both accounts. Do you think that could have been the case?
If you think that hasn't happened, we need more information to be able to track the problem. A good start would be having your bookmark file (bookmarks.adr) and the title of some of the bookmarks that don't belong to you.
