"Internal Server Error" accessing News (and cause identified?)

Throughout today I have been unable to access my News page using Opera Mini - a message would appear saying "Internal server error". Thinking this was caused by some odd code in a new post, I've now managed to log on simultaneously on both PC (where News works) and Mini. I identified the post causing the error as this one :

http://my.opera.com/widgets/blog/2010/04/08/seesu-music-player

The moment this new post was removed from my News items via Mark As Read, I could access the screen via Mini.

I had a similar thing occur a couple of weeks ago, possibly coinciding with the prior post on the Widgets blog. However, I cannot attest to this being the same cause as I did not do the 1-by-1 checking I have just done.

Anyway, perhaps someone could look into this or others have experienced the same problem?

Tracked it down to a new comment in the one Widgets post I commented on :

Not that anyone cares...

By using the 'awesome power' of my phone's built-in NetFront browser, I was able to access the Subscriptions list and Mark the new Widgets post as read, thus making the page work again in Mini.
So only Mini breaks in this scenario. Gotta admit, I was expecting at least some curiousity with what appears to me to be a 100% reproducible bug (and one which may occur more often if the cause isn't identified).

Another new blog post, another broken Subscriptions list. Well, screw it - i've given up and unsubscribed from the damn thing.

It's not like this was the only place affected anyway now - i've been getting the same bug every so often on the Slashdot feed.

It must be, as prd3 says, your crappy phone, and a lousy JVM implementation. p

Not fixed exactly - i'm now getting this error trying to view the My Opera post about the latest site changes.

http://my.opera.com/devblog/blog/show.dml/11832122/

Doesn't break my Subscriptions, just stops me viewing the post itself.
