Freeze with Opera 10.51 and Netflix.com?
I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem:After upgrading to Opera 10.51 I can no longer use the Netflix site. When I go to Netflix.com the page appears, but is completely unresponsive (i.e. clicking buttons/links/etc doesn't do anything.) Also, Opera itself becomes unresponsive (i.e. can't change tabs, open menus, etc) and my CPU usage spikes to 100%.
If I let it sit long enough Opera eventually crashes.
I didn't have this problem with 10.1, just with 10.51.
Thanks.
I have noticed similar symptoms with heavy flash applications. Sometimes they are slow, sometimes Opera and the flash app freeze for 10 to 30 seconds. All controls in Opera is then inactive. I can click on tabs, menu items, toolbar button or even the big red X to close the window, but no response.
It seems to me that a "Delete private data" solves the problem for a while, but then it comes back. This is nothing I can state firmly, it needs more testing on my part. Maybe someone else who are experiencing these kinds of hangs can try the same?

Thanks for the replies.
Based on the responses to my initial post I went back, tried a couple things, and realized my initial information was incorrect.
The first thing I tried was changing the Browser Identification setting. It had been set to "Mask as Firefox" (in an attempt to get silverlight to work based on a suggestion from a different thread) so I set it back to "Identify as Opera".
That made no difference. The site was still freezing up on me.
I realized that I use bookmark nicknames so often that I do it unconsciously. I tried typing in the url manually instead... and the site worked without freezing.
I went back and looked at the url in my netflix bookmark and it was www.netflix.com/memberhome. Going there caused the site to freeze. Going to www.netflix.com did not.
I updated my bookmark and everything seems to be working fine now.
Many thanks for the responses which encouraged me to dig a little deeper.
