Javascript links not working on YouTube Channel pages
I'm now using Opera 10.51, having upgraded from 10.10, and it generally seems to work very well, including initially I thought on YouTube, where I know some people have had problems.Unfortunately now I've found a problem too!
Although videos play fine, and most of the other functions of the site are fine, there is a problem with some links, which only seems to happen on channel pages.
Although all the links that are actual web address links work fine, any javascript links won't work at all.
The "button" highlights OK when the cursor is on it, but clicking it does nothing.
For instance on the example below, the "Uploads" and "Favourites" buttons do nothing, and the two icons at the top right to change the page presentation do nothing, nor do the "See All" links below.
The other links, such as the direct links to the videos, all work fine.
If I open the javascript links in a new tab, I just get a blank tab with "javascript;" on the tab.

I have tried identifying and masking as different browsers, and that makes no difference at all.
I did have a similar problem a while ago on another site with javascript links not working under Opera 10.10, and that was fixed by blocking all the advertisements on the site. I'm still using that ad blocker, and I've tried disabling it and it doesn't fix the problem either.
Anyone any ideas?

Anyone, or am I the only one having this problem?

Well. I guess I must be the only one with this problem as no-one has replied!
Please could someone at least confirm that those links are working for them.
Thanks.
Dave.

Well, finally fixed it!
A new clean operaprefs.ini file did not show the problem, so I went through my file trying to isolate which entry was causing the problem.
Eventually I found it was an entry called "Delayed Script Execution".
Set it to 0 instead of 1 and the problem went away.
This setting can also be changed here opera:config#Delayed%20Script%20Execution
The default does seem to be off, although mine was set to on.
I report this simply so anyone else with the same problem will possibly find a solution.
What this setting does I don't know and don't really care, at least my YouTube pages are working properly again, but if anyone can shed some light on it, especially if there are likely to be unwanted consequences from turning it off, please post.

Have you tried using a clean operaprefs.ini?
Is the problem still there with all the settings at their defaults?

Yes I have. But if I scroll down a little the video is shown.
The video on the channels page always worked for me too, it was the links to the uploads etc. that didn't work.
Are they still not working with the operaprefs.ini cleared?

Ah right! I still get that problem too. It's fine when I first go to a channel page, the "default" video for the channel displays and plays fine. However if I select another video the Flash player window doesn't appear, there's just a blank space, until I scroll the page so any part of the player area is off screen and then scroll back. Then the player suddenly appears!
Annoying, but not as bad as the links not working at all!

And I'll bet it works in every other browser too!
I've no idea what the cause is, but I just treat it as a relatively minor annoyance.
