opera crashes when it reads a .pdf file

opera crashes when it reads a .pdf file

Every time I click on a link to a .pdf file Opera crashes. I get a message saying that Adobe Reader can't be opened while the browser is running. I press the back button at this point. A few minutes later Opera crashes. I can still right click and download .pdf files or read them in IE.
Anybody else having trouble reading .pdf files?
Who has idea(s) about fixing it?

Opera version? OS? Adobe Reader version? Link to PDF file? Are you using the PDF plugin or opening in the external reader?

I'm getting this problem too on Opera 10.51 using the Acrobat plug-in- it opens the pdf ok but when I come to close the tab or go back it just crashes. OS is XP, example PDFs are any on http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/dissmcc/

This is probably not the same issue. You should have searched the forum for "Acrobat" to find this thread, which is much more likely to be related to your issue.
