Cannot use kanji in search (except Google)

I've downloaded the latest (10.51) Opera to try it.
I'm learning Japanese, so I use an online dictionary which I set as quicksearch in FireFox (you know, type the keyword, and the text to search) I've set this in Opera too, but when I use it with Japanese text, it is somehow converted into question mark(s). Except for Google, where I can search japanese too.
By the way, it also works when I type the kanji in the dictionary URL directly, but that is cumbersome at best.
Any ideas to make it work?

I don't have any problem using kanji in Opera search field or quick search in address field.

What the online dictionary you use?

Argh, I fixed it...

The encoding were automatically set to iso-8859-2 for all of the searches I created. Couldn't change this in the quick search properties, had to manually edit search.ini, to make them use utf-8.

But anyway, thanks for your help airiRin!
