I'm finding this problem w most sites...usually get a server time out error or a fail to connect...very frustrating sense its not the only issue....for those of us w blackberry's I'm willing to bet atleast some of the issues r related to RIM refusing to cooperate w most 3rd party developers...

I have never successfully uploaded anything to a web site with Mini 5, images or otherwise, and have finally stopped trying.

Try uploading smaller images say below 30kb and they should upload okay.

Nope. Just tried several times to upload a 19.9kb jpeg, and it arrived on the other end with 0 bytes, as usual. This was to my space here on My Opera, but it has also never worked on either of my webmail accounts (Gmail and a different service) for attaching to e-mails.

I've had no trouble with uploads from UCWEB, IE Mobile and the Iris Browser. I think it worked OK in Opera Mobile 10, but I don't use that anymore. OM 9.7 beta 1 had a known issue with corrupting uploaded images.

Anyway, I reported this as a bug in Mini 5 several weeks back, but forgot to keep a record of the report number. Others may have reported it, too.

I can upload and attach image files to email with Gmail in Mini 4.2, but with Mini 5 the files can be selected but don't upload.
