globalmenu applet in gnome

Is there a way to get the menu in opera to be integrated in the topanel, this works with native gtk-apps, but it's not seems to work with opera, not even the alphabuilds for the upcomming 10.52 either.
Here is a link to the globalmenu project, just to explain what I am talking about smile

Like the Mac-style menu option they had in KDE 3 ...

Opera gnome integration will be pseudo (visuals only, no functionality), as in Firefox and OpenOffice. It won't be supported by that project.

It would be nice if it was possible to make some kind of workaround or something smile

It is not reasonable to expect Opera to support a feature that isn't even in mainline Gnome/GTK. The gnome2-globalmenu project will only work for true (native) GTK applications, and Opera 10.5x is an X11 application that only draws using GTK or QT if available. Anything else, such as the settings WHERE to draw widgets and their behaviour, is handled by Opera's own toolkit. I don't think a workaround is possible.
