Flash Audio players not working.
System is an Ubuntu 8.10 running Opera 10.10 and the latest edition of Adobe Flashplayer, 10.0.45. I've checked in the plugins and all the directories where the flash plugin are located show this latest version.Youtube, lala, etc. work fine.
Can someone try these sites because I can't see the audio players:
www.higherthings.org in the middle of the screen, the "Reflections" and "Radio" should have players visible. They do not in my version (but do with Chrome and Firefox).
Also, any Amazon page with audio samples, such as:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00122KW0I/ref=s9_simh_gw_p340_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-3&pf_rd_r=00SPF700FXM5QXBE3B4V&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470938811&pf_rd_i=507846
At the top of the sample box, it says I need to install Flash Player.
I'm really frustrated as I can't seem to figure out why these couple of sites don't seem to be working; is it Flash? Java? Some mp3 plugin?
I'd really appreciate any help here! Thanks in advance.
