10.5 UI: Dragging the window

I find it a bit annoying that such a large area can be used to drag the window. I often open new tabs by double clicking the tab bar and I often accidentally move the window a few pixels when I do this. I would much prefer to only be able to drag the window at the very top (where the <title> is displayed)

You would have to argue this one with Apple, as they introduced this platform convention. You can also drag using the bottom bar.

Do you accidentally drag the window when using Safari or other applications? Opera may be missing some threshold to prevent this accidental misbehavior.

It only ever happens to me in Opera, but I have just tried to recreate this in Safari and it behaves the same way, so I don't think you're missing a threshhold (it would be sweet if you could add one anyway though. just 2 or 3 pixels would be fine)

I understand this is the way windows work in OS X and that it may be a small price to pay to make Opera more "Mac-like". Would it be possible to modify the skin to make the tab bar not be part of the dragable area? I would be happy enough if you just included the old skin from 10.1 (although it would be a shame to have to use it as I really like the way the new one is looking).

I feel really nitpicky complaining about such a minor issue and I realise I could just add the new tab button to the toolbar or press cmd+t but one of the main reasons I have been using Opera for years (I started using Opera when the free version still had ads smile ) is that it let's me tweak it to perfectly fit my workflow and it really bugs me when I try to open the panels by clicking on the left of the screen and nothing happens because I have moved the window 1 pixel to the right by accident.

PS: Sorry for posting the spaces bug in the wrong place smile
