Wishes for Opera on Mac
I would love to see:- Keychain support
- M2 integration with Address Book and iCal (which integrates with Google Contacts and Calender in my case, which I sync with my mobile phone)
It would be nice if all data appearing in my e-mail can be clickable, so they can automatically be added to iCal as an event, including a link to the mail in M2. It would also be great if all contacts in M2 can be added to my Address Book automatically, also by clicking on address information within e-mails (usually signatures). This means M2 should work on text recognition features in order to recognize events and contact information within mails.
If this works I can keep on using Opera, my favourite browser. Now I'm constantly switching between M2 and Mail, which is very unpractical! I would like to keep on using M2 because of its "unread" feature, which I use as a to-do list. Mac Mail does not have this feature..
These are good points, but I'd like to see some other improvements, too. I'd most like to see the ability to drag-and-drop more than just images from websites. Text, links, etc. should be drag-and-drop-able. Opera currently doesn't conform to the Mac's heavily drag-and-drop paradigm.
I think it would be usefull to also add the possibility to view pdf in Opera instead of opening preview every time. In addition, when subscribing to an RSS feed, opera doesn't give you the possibility to subscribe in Mail.

I haven't tried M2 in quite a while, but if I guess correct this "unread" feature is achievable in Mail by creating a smartfolder. Also have a look at http://www.43folders.com/2007/04/23/mail-smart-folders for a few tips.
