Site that looks ok in Firefox but has garbage code in Opera

Hi,

I don't know what is going on but this web site http://www.bodyrock.tv/ looks perfect in Firefox but is all garbage in Opera, at least mine.

Can someone shed some light on this behavior?

Merci!
Thank You!

Load the site in Opera and then use the right-click menu to open it with Firefox… View and copy the source while in Firefox. Return to Opera and view the source in Opera, delete the source and paste what you copied from Firefox; click Apply Changes… Now look at the site in Opera: Magic!

Hi OakdaleFTL,

thank you for this quick answer.

But, I don't like that solution, I mean I have to go back and forth between Firefox and Opera for each page of this web site, it sounds a bit weird to me to do that.

I wonder if I should report it as a bug...

Have a nice evening!
Merci!

Oakdale wasn't proposing it as a solution - it's a demonstration of the cause of the issue.

Bodyrock are sending completely different (and apparently broken) code to Opera. Why they're choosing to do this, I cannot say, but there's little Opera can do unless Bodyrock change this.

Strange ... looks fine here. If that's supposed to be the page you linked to (with no address bar in the picture I can't tell if I was supposed to follow some link or other). Maybe they fixed it already?

Moved to Opera browser, since this isn't about the My Opera website.

This has been posted on different forums already, it's a server problem.
The first time you go to the site, the server tells Opera that it's Gziped, and all is fine.
The second time you access the site, the server tells opera it's deflated, but sends it Gziped.

Looks to me like their webserver is badly broken and does not know what to do with serving up pages to Opera.

F12, Edit Site Preferences, Network, Identify As Firefox

Voilla, it works...

The site looks perfect for me (Windows XP )

Try and clear your Cache and any cookies for bodyrock

Edit:
Yes it is corrupted if you re-load the page. But it also crashes if you do a re-load in IE9. It then says "Error establishing a database connection"

Try reloading it, the first time is almost always good
