Probleme mit Mail / Problems with Mails
Dear Operians,I have big trouble with the Mailsystem of Opera. Since I updated to version 10.51 I cannot open sometimes the attached files to the mail, although I see them. Even if I want to save the file there will be no file at the end.
An other Problem is that if I want to forward a Mail the content of the original Mail will be not included to the new Mail. Thus i cannot forward a Mail.
The last Problem I have is dealing with the contacts. Opera does not show the mails of a contact correctly. This means if I click on a contact i sometimes do not see the mails of this contact. For me it seams that there is maybe something wrong with the integrity of the Mail database.
Sorry for the posting in german, thus i translated.

ich habe ernsthafte Probleme mit meinem Mailsystem. Seit dem Update auf 10.51 kann ich teilweise keine Dateianhänge mehr öffnen, obwohl diese an der Mail hängen. Wenn ich versuche den Anhang zu speichern, wird keine Datei erstellt.
Weiterhin habe ich das Problem, dass wenn ich eine Mail weiterleiten möchte, der Text der Mail nicht in die neue mitgenommen wird. Somit kann ich keine Inhalte weiterleiten.
Auch habe ich das Problem, dass scheinbar die Mails nicht korrekt den Kontakten zugeordnet wird. Dies äußert sich in der Art, dass wenn ich auf einen Kontakt klicke, nicht die Mail mit diesem angezeigt werden, sondern manchmal von einem anderen.
Bitte helft mir. Ich bin auf die Mails angewiesen.

ok, the problem with the attachments I dont have anymore. Someone told me to delete the Cache, which did work.

I have/had the problem with clicking (some) contacts not showing their email. As you said its probably some out-of-date or damaged index.
I fixed it by editing the email-address of the affected contacts, seems this triggers some indexing. If you have lots of affected contacts and dont want to edit all their addresses maybe it would work aswell if you backup your mails and import them again (Installing Opera again under a different directory should give you a seperate installation for trying this)
