No issue downloading 100% here. Actually complete very fast for this 8.6MB file. On build 3347.

Just tried and downloaded completely (100%) using your link provided. Yours could be your anti-virus taking a long time to scan your files.

Do you eventually use NOD32?

Stuck at 99,9% - yes it happens!
My experience:
you should wait - have patience - after a (long) while you get finally the 100%!
It seems, that the download and the reading is not synchron.?

I just tried a different machine, after much waiting with it stuck at 99% it finally downloaded

To recap, the file gets stuck at 99.9% for several minutes before actually finishing. I have tested and had the same results on these two systems:
Opera 10.51 (3315) Windows 7 64-bit
Opera 10.51 (3315) Windows XP SP3 32-bit

Chrome is able to download the file without any problems in each computer.

it might be your AV software causing it, hence I did ask whether you use NOD32. there is something about it in their forum, effecting also IE and FF, nobody though checked with chrome

Sorry to have ignored your question before. On the Windows 7 machine I'm using Avast antivirus, in the XP machine I'm using AVG+ZoneAlarm firewall.

I have the same problem with a few different files from dell's ftp server. I had no such problem when downloading a file off of Opera's ftp server, so maybe it's something wrong on dell's end? I really have no idea why it would only affect Opera though, I've now tried Firefox and IE and they both can handle the download just fine.

I am using filezilla for ftp downloads unless they are handled though http, no problems there with dell. might be a problem with opera's ftp handling. the opera ftp server is supposedly more up to the specs of the opera browser ftp handling.

And what if you get this issue and do not use NOD32?

I get this same issue ONLY on Dell downloads, the only AV I have is MSE with just the default Windows firewall. It only happens with downloads from the Dell site, and only in Opera.

This is a bug that has been fixed in 10.52 hence why it works for those using snapshots :-)

Hi
This bug still exists in Opera 11.00 (1156). It happens for no reason, at least i don't know why ? :/
It does not mater if i download form FTP or HTTP. Small or big files.
It just happens.
But only on Opera, no problems on FireFox or Int. explorer.

My PC or Laptop it occurs on both under Opera
Win XP Pro SP3
ESET Smart Security
- Only when it finds something it blocks file download AND worn me
- so it cant be problem with ESET
- beside i tried on others Security programs and all the same
Java
Flash Player

In some cases i can stop and start to finish download quickly, but it works only for thous servers with resume.
For some time now Opera is disappointing - support for flash and java. Problems with video on some web sits.

Same for me on 12.02.
Using VIPRE 2013 Internet security.
Any downloads stop at 99.9%, it's a real pain in the ass cos the file is locked if I try to open it while Opera is stuck at 99.9%

I am having this problem in Opera Next 12.12 build 1707, on Windows 8 Pro x64.
I am, just like the fellow up above, using Avast antivirus.
Same exact bug. Any help or solutions?

Same problem here. Been using opera for years, and today was the first day it happened.

I'm on Windows 8 x64, Opera 12.12. Using Avast Free as AV.

Files which I couldn't download (others worked):

http://sourceforge.net/projects/cmusphinx/files/sphinx4/1.0%20beta6/sphinx4-1.0beta6-src.zip/download
http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_AM3Plus/SABERTOOTH_990FX_R20/#download
http://download.oracle.com/otn-pub/java/jdk/7u10-b18/jdk-7u10-windows-x64.exe

LE: All works now when AV shields are turned off. Still anoying thing, though.

Anything over 100 or 200 mb it would seem. I don't remember any particular files other than some on a password protected website.
Small files get through easily.

Seems to be some protocol that these AV softwares have in common and the way they scan files when downloaded.
I'd hate to disable Avast...

Same problem here. I've also been using Opera for years, only noticed this since a couple of weeks, maybe.

When downloading large files the download get's stuck at 99.9%. When pressing 'restart' in the download manager (although it is NOT paused), it immidiately completes. But when checking the MD5 sum of the file it ALWAYS fails. Have tested this with 10..20 files in size roughly between 50MB and 4GB, mainly Linux or BSD iso's. If after the fail I download the exact same file from exact the same mirror in Firefox, the download is fine and the MD5 sum is correct.

Firefox has never failed a download, while with Opera they all fail. It's annoying!

Using Opera 12.12 build 1707 on W7 64bit. Antivirus is NOD32 5.2.9.12. I did not disable the AV scanner to see if it works, only got the idea here. I will try and edit the post later.

I am also having this problem which seems to have started recently as reported.

I'm still using Version 12.02 Build 1578 (on Windows 8) as it has a feature (may have been a bug in this version) which I like and has since been removed / fixed.

There seems to be some relation to the speed of the download. I notice it downloading from filehosts; If it is one I'm not a member of then the download is slow and it completes, if on the other hand I am a member and the download it fast it almost always freezes at 99.9%. I have tested the same downloads with Chrome, IE & Firefox and they all work without problems.
