Opera mini iPhones does not load pages

Hello, firstly congrats on getting approved. Thats great news.

Secondly, ive installed Opera Mini on mi iPhone 3GS and when I click a link on the home page or enter a URL the page does not load. I simple see the spinning wheel and nothing else.

Any idea why I have this problem? Ive restarted the phone, tried wifi and 3G but nothing seems to help.

Many thanks

Jason

Please try to use http as connection method. To do so, click on the "screw wrench" symbol, then "settings=>advanced=>protocol=>http".

I have the exact same problem,I get a blank page with a red bar on top, with the spinning icon. There is no wrench icon, and touching the screen does not bring up any toolbar, so I cant enter the settings menu (im on WiFi, iPod touch 3G). Is there any way to solve this?

@gsenarcl: That's the problem, there is no "screw wrench" symbol, so we cant change settings.

@LHC22, retroo: How long have you waited for start page to be displayed? Have you got "Connection Failed! Unable to connect. Please review your network settings." message after about 1 min.?

Just left it for 5 minutes and nothing... The spinning icon is still there along with the red bar and the rest of the page is blank.

Me too having same issue - Mini loads with a white blank screen, Top red bar with a spinning wheel and NO Setting button or bottom tool bar.

Got a iPod Touch 2G with 3.1.3.
Tried following:
1. Installed from Ipod
2. Uninstalled and installed from iTunes
3. Switched off network and restarted Mini
4. Completely Forgot the Wifi network, reconfigured and restarted Mini
5. Restarted iPod
6. Been trying various combinations for past two days

No luck.

Seems even Opera members dont have a clue, since i dont find any reply for this issue, though it's reported in many places in the forum.

Anyway glad to see the screen of all Red O's in the Top Free Apps - real cool shot...

Hi guys -- kudos for approval! Thanks for all the hard work!

Just installed and have the issue described by several on this thread: i see the red banner and spinner but blank page underneath. Have waited several minutes.

Running on a touch MC086LL, version 3.1.3(7E18)
Wifi is up and solid
6.7G of space available
Can browse fine via safari

Have tried uninstall / reinstall
Have tried power off and on

No help.
