Wow! You're already running IE9!!
That was the message i got when i went on test drive page for IE9. Except I used Opera 10.52 - not IE9.
Did Microsoft outsourced their web browser development to Opera Software ASA???

It should say IE30 because Opera 10.5 is light years ahead of Internet Explorer

I opened /includes/script/testdrive.js on that page to figure out why is Opera recognized as IE9 and found some awesome comments:

// these document mode checks only work because all of our test drive pages
// are specifically asking for 9 mode via the meta tag

// initialize the zoom watermark if we have one (we usually don't)

// hard-codes the fact that we have a 48px wide logo 8px from the left

Best one:
// should probably do something similar for IE7 but it's a lot more work

Don't care bout IE anymore....I used to have some allegiance to it but its all gone after opera 10 , the only time I use it if some some sites have to be retarded and HAVE to HAVE IE running

P.S is anyone reading the test results of CSS of SVG that microsoft is posting...supposedly IE9 passes all and opera 10.5x and other current browsers are "not as good" as what IE9's results are ?

Hopefully Carakan can be pushed to its limits, Vega be fully brought in and some Hardware acceleration now all that would just be the best.....

now what about opera mini and mobile hardware acceleration on newer Smartphones? bigsmile wizard

To be honest, I like Microsoft but they neglected IE waaay to much... I do hope that IE9 will be great simply because it will push Opera (and other browsers) to be even more great smile
