awesome web panels

sup people

I (like many of you) love opera's side panel. It adds alot of functionality to my browser . but i,ve noticed their really isnt any good resource for finding new panels.
After several attempts at trying to add my panels to the opera panel site I just finally gave up (I dont think they update it anymore). So i decided to dedicate my blog to useful sites i've found that work great in the panel.

If u have any suggestions for great sites, send me a link

How about the table of contents for Opera's help: opera:help/toc.html (automatically redirects for your platform and language)

Some weather sites (mobile pages look decent as panels:

http://xhtml.weather.com/xhtml/10day/(ZIP code)
http://mobile.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?brand=mobile&query=(ZIP code)#conditions

Replace (ZIP code) with your ZIP code or location. Note: in my opinion, the Weather Underground page looks best with small-screen mode enabled.

Thanks sgunhouse for the weather underground suggestion. I found that one a little while ago but i wasn't sure how many people would read the directions to pick up a local forecast. Although I m.yahoo.com has a pretty nice three day local forecast. Ill put it on my blog.

Yeah, Right you are!
I've also found many useful mobile sites in .RU (dictionaries, news, weather etc).
And right idea is to create own local HTML with quick links to them
btw, I often use my mobile (Nokia5800) for Inet surfing, and mobile site in desktop Opera panel looks smth like my phone screen appears on left side of desktop screen bigsmile
