Mail crash when trying to Reply.

I'm getting sick of this bug and want some feedback that Opera at least know what is wrong, but preferably have a release soon with it fixed.

Opera 10.10 64-bit on Linux. The Mail client connects to an Exchange IMAP connector (yes, it's buggy - that's something I wish Microsoft would fix). Emails with embedded images will almost always crash Opera if I try to Reply or Reply All. Tends to happen more with Reply All. Usually I have to resort to my Outlook VM to reply, but if I restart Opera with no windows, then open the mail window, it works.

I've sent the automatic report dozens of times and even filed a full bug report with a crash dump.

Still... Opera? Can I have some feedback that this is even getting looked at? Crash recovery is nice'n'all but I still can't reply to the crashing message!

Wade.

Can you reproduce with a separate, fresh install with fresh profile (including fresh mail setup)?

If not, you'll have to investigate what's wrong with your current profile that triggers the problem. For example, you could close Opera and delete all the ini files in Opera's toolbars folder to reset your toolbars. You could do the same with the menu folder. You could make sure your sessions/autosave.win file isn't corrupted (by just deleting it while Opera is closed).

You could delete the cache, opcache and temporary_downloads folders.

For the IMAP account, you could go into its properties and on the incoming tab, set it to never make messages available offline to purge the cache. Then, switch it back to default.

Are you using low bandwidth mode or anything? Non-default skin?

You could set opera:config#consistency to 0 and restart Opera.

You can try (at your own risk) the latest 10.52 beta-ish snapshot for linux to see if that helps. (Best to use tar.gz package, extract and load a separate, fresh profile).

It might be related to x64. Not sure. I don't use linux, so can't test.

What's the bug number (minus the @...) though?
