I am having the same problem. I can change it from public to private, but I cannot change the password. If I type a new one I get the save button, but the settings are not updated.
The page is refreshing every five seconds. If you're quick, and copy/paste the password from elsewhere, it does get updated.

Greetings ,
The first thing that you want to do is Log on and start Opera Unite .Then go the the open button at the top of the Unite Panel and push it.
The Admin Home page tab should pop up. If not, select OperaUnite home.
When homepage tab opens, you will have access the Admin functions in Unite.
To be sure you are in the right page check your address bar in Opera, it should read http; // Admin.home .username.Operaunite.com/content
Now visit your file share Application .
To change to a password , key in the your new Password ..Your should see a save button appear , use you Keyboard enter key instead the save button to save.
You may have to repeat this several times before it sets .
It is a know bug in the system and had been reported .
You may also have to toggle between Public and Private to make it saves the new password.
Do make sure that the Password you selected is displayed as saved and stays in the password field before you close or it will revert back to the last Password Entered.
Cheers !

Thanks for the reply but once I am in the file share application there is no field/area/space etc to actually type anything in.
Could you take a screen shot of that entire page and attach to this thread?
Naturally to add to the confusion I am not having any problem with changing the password nor other problems mentioned in this thread.

I am a little confused. You wanted to know where to change the File Sharing server password but the jpg that you loaded is the Opera Unite Home page. You need to double click the File Sharing or right click on it and select "Open". You will scroll down the page and you will see the password fields there.
Look at RomDos's two jpgs OperaUniteFileshare01.JPG and OperaUniteFileshare02.JPG in this thread. The 01 jpg is the top of the File Sharing page and 02 the bottom where the password field are displayed.
Hope this helps...

Well you got that far,
Now visit your file share Application, that is where the password function is for that Application . Or if you would like to add a password to the media player pictured in your jpg you must visit media player. the same applies to any other application you "must" visit it as a admin to get to the admin functions of that application.next time you get that far try clicking the visit button and see what you get then.
Cheers!!
