Download file from the web to a new or existing compressed file (zip or rar)
Dear fellows,I usually download application file setups (.exe, .msi, etc) from download sites and I also like downloading their respective description web (in .mht) in order to have a description of the downloaded setup file which names are usually not very suggestive concerning what they are.
What I intend is to bundle or archive the downloaded application file (.exe) together with is description web page ( I've been downloading the description web page as *.mht - single file).
If ever possible, I'd like to do it on the fly, I mean, using a user JavaScript to zip the application file first into a compressed file and then zipping the current Tab web page to the same compressed file. User inputs could be nice for choosing directories, etc.
Behold the challenge! I thank you all beforehand for the help.
You could certainly do that on the fly, but that sounds like a job for shell scripting or if that's not enough maybe something like Python or Unite.
Not UserJS, anyway.
