Opera is froxen downloading data. Even no-go after re-installing it. HELP!

I really enjoyed the browser, but everytime I open it up, it is stuck downloading data from a site. I have control over that browser window what so ever, and the only reason I am writing this is because I kept IE as a backup. I would hate have Opera lose its credability as I have told alot of my friends about it.

Can someone please help me?

Thanks

1. I dont see how my title isnt descriptive. I stated whats wrong, what I tried to do, and the nature of the issue.

2. I would love to give you the link, but because my Opera browser is frozen, I cannot copy and paste. From what I have read it doesnt have to do with the specific webpage, but its an issue with the browser. If it at all matters the website is actionvillage.com.

I know, thats what I said.

Let me explain this in more detail.
I went to the site, navigated around it fine, but then all of a sudden it froze up. It said at the bottom left downloading data, but I couldnt click on anything. The close button wouldnt work, nothing on the browser would work I had to go into the task menu to close it. I tried opening it up again, but because it saved the history, it didnt move off that page. I tried unistalling Opera, redownloading and reinstallng it, but when I opened it up for the first time it was at the same stage, frozen, and I couldnt control it.
