Opera youtube problem

Using Opera, it has been good all along. When i try to watch youtube video today, the video cannot be watch, Just a "Go Upgrade" is seen in the video area. However I can play the "The video won't play -- what's wrong? How can i solve it?

write in your browser url bar, "opera:about" ... copy the address to "User JavaScript folder" ... go there ... then copy YoutubeProtectionRemover.js to the folder

I can't do this, what is the correct way to solve this?

there is another post discussing this issue, apparently its a Youtube problem try to enter the uploader profile so you could watch the video there

How to install the javascript to solve this problem. (The script is attached a few posts above)

so what is the problem actually? Yes i read the thread but i can't figure a way to solve the last 2 step.

All you need to do now is Check for updates from the Opera Help menu. You no longer need to install the user javascript posted in the linked thread. Opera have updated the browser.js

Check for updates will not find any application update, because there are none, but it will update the browser.js file, which will fix the YouTube problem.

Nope, checking for updates didn't work for me, neither did the user javascript... sad

Do you think it's to do with ad-blocking?

Check for updates wont work, as I use 9.64. I downloaded the userscript to no avail. Should that work with 9.64?

I followed the link trail and changed it accordingly (Thought it was done in the Tools menu. ??????). I cycled Opera off and back on, but it is still not working. ???????????

YouTube-Opera videos issue was fixed by YouTube, you shouldn't continue having problems...
