Youtube videos that aren't embedded saying old flash, Update - I've have the latest version

So, yeah, the Youtube videos that aren't embedded are telling my that I need to update flash, but I've already checked and re-downloaded the latest version of flash.

It was working fine for me a few days ago, but now the unembedded videos won't play.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Two options:
#1. Go to: <i>Help - Check For Updates</i> (even if you don't/can't/are using the latest version, it will update the Browser.js with the YT fix)

#2. http://my.opera.com/chooseopera/blog/2010/04/15/youtube-fix

Also, try searching the forums before posting.

Even if I don't use O 10.53? I use 9.64 and answered "No" to the update. It did not magically "update the Browser.js. The link was broken.
I can't play YT vids in Opera and would appreciate a real fix.

opera:config#UserPrefs|BrowserJavaScript set it to 1 - it will be updated even without browser update AFAIK

Here you can check the version: http://www.opera.com/docs/browserjs/

Thanks QuHno,

Current browser.js status: enabled.
Target version and time stamp of the active browser.js file is Opera 9.60, Desktop, February 1, 2010.

Is my version current?

It did not yet work. Still trying.

Checking for updates manually

Opera downloads the file automatically once a week, but if you want to make absolutely sure you have the latest file you can follow these steps:
Go to the Browser JavaScript setting and change the value to 1.
Click the "Save" button below the setting.
Use Help > Check for updates in Opera's menu bar.

Opera may tell you no new Opera version is available, but it will still check for a new version of the browser.js file.

A new version of Opera is avail. Would you like to upgrade now? No

Patches applied by Browser JavaScript

In most cases, when Browser JavaScript applies a fix, a message is posted in the JavaScript console (Tools > Advanced > JavaScript console) saying that the page has been changed.

In 9.64: Tools > Advanced > Java Console
No "console" appears. ??????????????????????????????

Where can I get the current browser.js file and install it?

Hola Daniel,
