Opera link problems

Hey

I have a little problem with Opera link. It doesn't want to synchronize the bookmarks, and also all of the bookmarks are gone from the opera link page.

When it tries to sync with the server, it says there is an error "The user information is currently locked by the Opera Link server, but it will be available shortly" and it is like this for about 3-4 weeks, with other errors occurring, is "An error has occurred while parsing data from the Opera Link server".

Before that it was able to sync seamlessly with desktop, laptop and mobile phone.

I tried changing password, login, reinstalling opera etc but nothing helped.

Does any one have any explanation/solution?
Thanks

Seems to be some bugs on the link server there, happend to me too.
Few bmks or notes work fine but if they grow it is bad.
If nothing els can wipe your data on the server, so you then load it again from scratch, ask to close your account and sing up again, i don't know how and if it is possible.

That could mean that bookmarks.adr file format has something Opera link does not like anymore. Can you find - on desktop, laptop or mobile phone - an older version of it that works?
It would be interesting find that something. Then i could repeat and comfirm with my results.

I couldn't find any old bookmarks.adr files.
Both my desktop and my laptop have the link corrupted.
And my old phone doesnt want to even to log into the opera link.
And if i remember right it happen right after i switched to opera 10.51
Did you have any luck with bookmarks files?

Update
I've tried the couple of things that i found on the forum and for some time it looked like it was syncing however it took forever(left it for an hour and it was not finish) so i have no idea what is wrong.

I'm lucky till now. I've just installed again 10.51 - having bkms and notes uploaded - and applied a technik bigsmile
- enabled Opera Link, logged in, then configure just one selection checked, waited to download all, restart Opera
- configure and checked another (first bookmarks, now notes); till now worked fine, follow the sessions next
Next thing i'll do is to disable OL and enable it only for backup purposes as it proved to slow a lot working with and make a mess to the bkms and notes when it wants to.

>(left it for an hour and it was not finish)
>>i've found out when you close Opera, it should sync all left, it should...
I left it hours, the same... , seemd i've had luck in the end.

Everything you do - by example - in the notes, evan change a note focus or open/close a note folder, alter the notes.adr and always try to synk this way, so better disable OL as it proved to have a bad sync, a mess generator. =smile

I've tried to replace with my old .adr files. If you don't change anything in Profile folder, only download from OL server if not add manually, it could go.

I have the exact same problem and this sucks. I did try a new link account and it appears to work but if my old one doesn't work, the new link account will eventually fail too so whats the point? Even my Opera Mobile & Opera Mini does not sync anymore via Opera Link due to some problems.

I can't believe that Opera's going downhill :-(

I'm having a problem on a netbook. Opera Link works with a relatively fast wireless connection, but when I get a connection that is slower or weaker it reports failed. I can browse OK and other network activity seems fine, but Link fails. I'm using 10.53.

I did try copying the bookmarks.adr file from the most updated computer to the netbook, but that did not help. On the slow connection, nothing is getting synchronized. When I close Opera, the message window comes up saying "Link trying to synchronize", but it goes away not accomplishing this task.
