Java Applet is not working
I am a fan of Opera, my favorite browser several years ago. But now I'm becoming disappointed.Only today I realized that Opera doesn't run the applet java; I don't know if this happened with early versions, but with the Opera versions 9 I didn't noticed any problem .
My Opera version is 10.51 with Java SE 6 U20 installed this morning. The windows version is XP Pro SP3. The information given by Tools->Advanced->Plug-ins is in the following file:
Opera_Plug-ins.txt
When I click Tools->Advanced->Quick Preferences "Enable Java" is in light grey.
In the Windows Control Panel ->Java Control Panel->Advanced->Default Java for browsers when I select Mozilla family and next I select again the Java Control Panel the Mozzila family is not selected.
With the IE 8 the applets java are working fine.
Can you help to overcome this problem?

Sorry the problem is fixed.
The java plug-in, npjp2.dll, was in directory C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\new_plugin and also in C:\Program Files\Opera\program\plugins. Probably I made a mistake, I copied the dll to last directory; I don't remember when I did this copy. In this moment the applets java are working fine in Opera when I deleted the npjp2.dll from C:\Program Files\Opera\program\plugins directory.
