10.52 crashes on saving images
This bug has been persistently there since the first alpha, even with latest build 6317 saving any images crashes Opera. Anyone else experiencing this, I am on Ubuntu x64 Karmic.Opera 10.10 on Karmic x64.

Thanks Ruario, do you suspect this to be a Ubuntu specific issue, maybe gnome related, it doesn't crash with older Opera 10.10 or Chrome or FF.

Great, so now the numbers are growing, point is Ubuntu and Mint along with Debian have the highest number of user installed base for Linux desktop so this problem just can't be ignored.

I just observed Opera repeteadly crashing on saving images. It happened when i saved a few (5-6) images from a page one after another. But eventually it crashed. The page was https if this detail is important - unfortunately i cannot give you full details because its a page that requires logging in. The starting page is
http://www.heemskerkflowers.com/default.aspx
After logging in there are many smaller images about flowers that i needed. I saved 5-6 (there are no restrictiong scripts on saving them) and Opera crashed. I tried 4 times, all of which Opera crashed after saving a few images. The images are small, jpg format.
Some details:
Version 10.52 Internal
Build 6317
Platform Linux (Debian Squeeze)
System i686, 2.6.32-3-686
Even the latest build crashes, its supposed to be a Ubuntu Karmic issue to to older glib, doesn't happen in Lucid, well ten more days for Lucid and therefore back to 10.10 for now.

@Arup65: I never said we wouldn't fix it (nor that we were ignoring it). I only said that it shows up on certain distros only, hence why you get a mixed response when people discuss this, with some seeing it and others not. Mint crashing is unsurprising given in is 95%+ the same as Ubuntu (on which it is based), hence all the same versions of libs.
Until you see us mention a fix for this it is not really worth discussing. Just because it is not fixed in one snapshot to the next does not mean we are not aware and are not intending to fix it. We are .... but as you well know we do not fix every single outstanding issue between two given snapshots. We fully intend to fix this before we release Opera in a stable form (i.e. the final). It may get fixed earlier than that.
