is there a way to reduce the width of the search pull-down?

I liked it when it was narrow limited to the space under the search pull-down text box but now it's full width of the browser and has lots of wasted real estate and needs a mouse hike across the screen to pick the search engine ...any advice? ...tia!!

There is no 10.2.......

I fixed it by doing a clean install of 10.51.

sorry ...it was of normal width in 10.10 which I still have. My install of 10.52 is in a separate directory. I tried the built in prefs editor and found searching for "search" a notation of the "Address Search Drop Down" which showed a value of "25" but the press for "default" shows "-1" ...nothing changed. I opened the "operaprefs.ini" in "profile" and found searching for "search" the entry "Address Search Drop Down Weighted Width" for which I tried values of -1 and 5 and 25 which changed nothing. It must be the pulldown for the search is NOT the same one to which this makes reference. I want the one that is addressed by the java editor which adds separators etc. ...what next. Oh, yes, clean install of 10.52 in another directory with no changes still gives a full page pulldown for the search engines...???
